Ended up with this email when I got home. sad email previous post
Am I overreacting? Normally I wouldn’t be worried as a 22 year old vaccinated+1 time booster person I’m overall pretty healthy, but I do smoke a lot of weed like non stop for the past 4 or 5 years I’ve smoked everyday. I believe I will be fine, my main concern is starting a job that is reckless enough to allow a Covid+ person to work at a high volume grocery store for 3 days.
To add onto my concerns I take care of my mother who is high risk simply because of her age, although somehow Queen Elizabeth somehow survived so maybe I am overreacting and honestly I hope that I am.
Regardless of that I’m seriously considering leaving the job I just started. With the whole Covid thing and being offered $14.74 which is only ¢.25 over my state’s minimum wage for an overnight shift when the job listing started at $17-20 I’m taking this as a sign.
I’ve applied to new positions on indeed, haven’t heard back yet, should I stick it out with this job? Or should I take this as a sign to run?
