Literally the title. Student loans are going to take 10 years to pay off. Buying a house won't be possible unless the housing market crashes and people start selling house for $50,000. Nothing is secure and healthcare and immigration are so dependent on you having a job. Why should I work myself to the bone to pay off debt and just be able to afford to be alive. My close friend slaved away at his job for 4 years and was the type to work overtime every week. Then, he and the owner got into a spat and 4 years of hard work and overtime went down the drain because his boss refused to sponsor his visa. We've suffered way too much to be living like this.
