I have been on countless minimum wage interviews, things like waiter, phone customer service, cashier, etc. And ALWAYS, the interviewer asks the same question: Why do you think you should work for us? Why do you need this job?, or similar.
Am I supposed to say “Yes, I've always wanted to say NEXT CUSTOMER, PLEASE 50 times a day”? “It's always been my dream to speak with entitled Karens who disrespect me like I'm a dirty rag and not being able to say nothing back to them”? “I need the money my brother”?
Do interviewers actually expect something when talking about a 6€/hour job? What could I tell them?
