I asked on an anon site about how to go about finding a new job when you don't want to give up your personal values. I was basically told to get off my high horse because people will work for whatever evil company and make money. Is that it? Is that all we have left?
The company I currently work for is going to be run into the ground because an exec wants to go in on “web3” and I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm the breadwinner in the house and we need my job to basically be alive. What hope is there left when companies don't care and the only advice is to suck it up and deal?
I'm so burnt out and exhausted by the mess of not just where I work but just… every company?? Trying to find a new job seems like an impossible task and not even worth it? How can we ever move toward a society that isn't built on 40+ hour weeks of pointless work driven by companies who are willfully destroying society?
