What defines a good job/career?

I don’t know if this post has been done before, but as I read through some of these horror stories, I often wonder… what is the ideal career/job?

Generally:

1. How long should someone have to work during a day (if at all)?

2. How much should someone be paid?

3. What benefits should be supported by work?

4. How much vacation/personal time should someone receive?

5. How long should someone work until retirement?
