Hi everyone, my family owns a fast food chain and I want to make sure we are keeping up with the pay rate that most workers need to make a good living with inflation increasing day by day. There’s also a problem with rising food cost so we’ve been trying to cut down on ordering food so we can keep our wages high and instead of ordering in excess (we used to order extra food in case we got hit with a rush) we can order just enough and as much as we need since food is delivered twice a week. We also have super high rent and franchise costs so we are trying our best to balance everything.
So I was wondering what do you think a good reasonable starting pay in fast food given today’s living situation?
