I applied to a position on LinkedIn and then out of the blue I received a call from them and they said “Hey, I am speaking from xxx, are you xxx?” I answered yes, and they said “So, you applied for an internship, this is regarding the interview of that, so introduce yourself” I have high fucking anxiety problem, so I made an excuse of bad network and hung up, but I am now confused about whether it was rational for them to do what they did or am I wrong?
