What if we capped the ratio of highest to lowest paid employee?

Say at 50? This does not mean that the highest paid employee will be paid less necessarily. If you have to pay someone a lot, you can do that, just maintain the ratio. I know it's not that straightforward, but you get the gist. Sure, the CEO can be paid more than the average worker but 1711 times is just insane.
