What should I do to make sure I don’t lose a job?

So I currently work at a regular 9-5 sort of in my field. I just started the position about 3 weeks ago. Nothing too special, pay is average just do the work and fill the time. SO I was let go from a well known company early this year over an accident, I wasn’t given the opportunity to defend myself or present evidence to support myself and I tried calling the Union we had but since I wasn’t there long enough ( they have an extraordinary long probation period) the Union couldn’t do much. 2 months later I get an offer from another good company in my field, they say that they would like to hire me but obviously background check has to clear, okay no biggie I wait. 4 weeks later they come back to me, having withdraw the offer stating that my previous employer wrote I was terminated…

SO

I was let go from a well known company early this year over an accident, I wasn’t given the opportunity to defend myself or present evidence to support myself and I tried calling the Union we had but since I wasn’t there long enough ( they have an extraordinary long probation period) the Union couldn’t do much.

2 months later I get an offer from another good company in my field, they say that they would like to hire me but obviously background check has to clear, okay no biggie I wait.

4 weeks later they come back to me, having withdraw the offer stating that my previous employer wrote I was terminated for a negative reason and as such they cannot bring me on board and rescind the offer. I had no idea this was on my record. I was devastated and I am still currently fighting to get it removed from the record.

Another 2 months later I get this current job, I inform them of what to expect on the background check and state that I have evidence proving this isn’t true ( workers comp, medical report, incident note etc). My background check clears this time and I start.

Then about 2 weeks ago I got an interview from another well known company, and I get the job. It is the exact same position as the job that I had the offer rescinded by. I once again inform the manager of this note once hired and they say that it’s fine and proceed with paper work. However the person doing my paperwork and background check is a much higher person than the one who offered me the position and I have never spoken to them before. I’m scheduled to start in 2 weeks and my background check will be submitted Monday. as such I need to put in a notice to this current job but I don’t want to put one in until I’m assured my background check clears.

My question is, do I also inform the higher up about this situation despite telling the hiring manger already? I can present evidence immediately if asked, as I keep it all in a file. I just want to cover all my bases and make sure I have a job before leaving this one. This is a job I’ve been desiring for months.
