Hopefully this is an okay question for this sub.
My Parent is a Manager who really tries to do right by the employees. It is a small office in a healthcare field.
One of the employees (on the younger side- not retirement age) is leaving after close to 10 years. They are leaving for a bunch of reasons (personal, college schedule with the goal of moving into a different field). They are on good terms with each other. My Parent has really worked hard to try to accommodate them at every turn and wants nothing but the best for this employee. They want to do something special for them but have no idea how to wish them luck in their future endeavors that really comes across as appreciative.
I've read plenty of stories of really insulting or laughable attempts on this sub and just was hoping for some insight. What would show you your office really cared?
Thank you in advance for your opinions.
