We all have stories that are completely true but when we tell people about them, they think the story is sus or completely made up. So what’s a bad work experience of yours that falls into that category?
For me, I worked for my uncle cleaning grocery stores. I had been working for him for a few years. He came in one night before so got in (I was running late due to a date going horribly wrong) and he called my mom, who was my supervisor and told her he wanted me fired. I didn’t learn about this until that weekend when me and my Dad took the weekend to go to Salt Lake City and my Dad was the one who informed me I was fired. This was 5 days after my mom had been told to but didn’t, so I had been working oblivious to that.
Hopefully that inspires a few people with their own wacky true stories that nobody believes or it’s really hard for people to buy them!
