I found out I'm being laid off this week. It's a little company, and apparently they've lost a couple big clients. When the CEO living in a multi-million dollar mansion is telling a guy living in his parents' basement because he can't afford rent that they can't afford to pay him anymore is it still ironic or is there a stronger word to describe the situation?
