When you get invited out…

So this isn't a typical post, I wanted to get some of your opinions on socialising with work colleagues. Generally I'm vehemently opposed to the idea, I believe most colleagues are just that, “colleagues” not my friends or god forbid “family” like some if these deranged managers think. I only see them when I'm at work never after, I've just been invited out to drinks and my number has been added to a group chat organising this. If you read up to here you probably know what I'm going to say but the reason I'm particularly passionate is because I allowed myself to get forced into a work outing before and it was a fucking horrible experience. Whenever I try and politely refuse they ask, “Why? Are you free on this day instead?” I'm just like, “Fuck off Dave, you're not my friend and the last person I want to…
