Where can I invest money ethically for retirement?

One day when I'm elderly, or if I become injured, I might find myself in a situation where I am not capable of working anymore. I'll need money to support myself and have a work-free life, so it got me thinking about how I can invest or put aside some money to use in the future? I could buy property to rent to people, but that is being a landlord and wrong. I could buy stock in corporations, but that supports exploitation of the common worker. I could buy government bonds, but the government is full of politicians and does a lot of wrongs. I could simply hold my cash in a piggy bank, but I fear inflation will erode purchasing power in years to come.
