I seriously don’t understand how this mindset has been ingrained into people. Why do people who work two jobs just to get by praise people like elon musk and jeff bezos who got money from their parents to start of their companies and now do nothing except exploit their workers? I’m tired of hearing the term “self made billionaire” as if they genuinely started on the bottom instead of with a leg up on every other average person. It’s mostly genY and older that seem to do this in my experience. I think some older people might be blind to it and have no patience to listen to their more aware peers or younger generations attempt to explain how fucked up the concept of a billionaire even is.
