I don't understand, I don't understand why I still work. I know I “need” money to survive but for fucks sake this country (USA) is literally just draining everything we can for some rich assholes to waste money on dumb shit.
And the “benefits” people get at these jobs is insane. We know that dental health is directly connected to heart health yet dental health is an option (and it's expensive). Amoungst all the other trash you hear.
Insurance companies go fuck yourself. There's genetic testing that can help identify what you may get in life, no one wants it though cause the insurance will charge you for this knowledge. And even then they try to price gauge you all the way through your issues and question the doctor on “why the patient needs a test.”
It's such a joke, I wanted to make a family, do what my parents were able to do. Now I have 3 incomes (partner, myself, retirement) and it's still not enough.
I don't know what to do, but I know I don't want to work and make some rich asshole another lifetimes worth of money just for the rest of the people to suffer.
