I am 25 and work in the movie/commercial industry. I make a lot of money and live in a country where both health and education are free, so I expect to be a homeowner in about two-three years. Whenever I see people doing low paying jobs, I can’t help but wonder « how brainwashed by the system do you have to be to let yourself have a shitty life (I remind you we only have one) at the service of wealthier people and not simply steal things ? »
Some of you might think I am trolling. I am not. I do believe stealing is ethical when it is used to get back what was stolen from you in the first place. And there is one thing most have been stolen from : a decent life. I see it so much, this volontary servitude from La Boetie, that I almost have bitterness towards low paying job workers, as I see them as economical agents preserving and nurturing the unfair system for a few’s interests. To be completely honest (and I apologize in advance because I know it is hurting), I think they are at least as much responsible for this system as the wealthy, as they are in majority contributing to it.
I myself steal from the wealthier every time I see that their wealth would be in better hands if it were in mine. In my work with luxury fashion brands, I encounter a lot of rich who just use tons of money for dumb things like clothes and cars. So I steal from them. It is as simple as that. When are you going to do the same ?

There is this meme from Futurama where aliens wonder « why aren’t the poor, who are in a numerical advantage, don’t simply eat the rich ? », and we all take that scene as a joke and turn it into meme but… seriously, why aren’t you doing that ? Why do you keep feeding them instead ?
Sorry if it feels harsh but I really needed to share my thoughts… I hope this won’t get deleted. I hope that by reading that, there is at least one person who will no longer feel guilty when stealing from the wealthy.
