I was asked this by a very rude woman who was upset she “had” to wait in the accessible line. She kept spitting vitriol at me while I maintained composure in the face of her nastiness. Maybe, just MAY FUCKING BE the workers are leaving this less than well paying job because of awful customers who refuse to acknowledge that they are their own obstacle. People don't want to work underpaid jobs and then be treated horribly by demanding, unrealistic customers. If you want the places you frequent to be staffed, don't make keeping staff impossible.
