Why is my boss surprised that my job has a high turnover rate?

I work midnights at a factory as I’m currently saving money. It’s not that god awful but it’s not great either. My boss will be surprised when people quit and say nobody wants to work anymore. It’s literally midnights in damn manufacturing of course people are gonna quit.
