Hey, I’m Norwegian and currently work part time at McDonalds (because I’m 18, and currently studying). I earn approximately 185 NOK (20-20.50 USD) per hour. And it makes me wonder, how is the minimum so low in many US states, when the businesses barely pay any taxes compared to Norway. If McDonalds in Norway manage to have 20 dollars per hour, so should the US.
Note that I don’t have to pay any income tax before i exceed around 6000 USD per year. And i get free healthcare by the government too
