So my wife and I worked at a place called fringe eatery in boulder Co. They promised my wife a sous position that they didn't have money to back until the new restaurant opened in a week. 3 months later, and waiting for the promotion that was supposed to happen a week after hire, she gets yelled at and threatened by drunk men in the kitchen. The next day(today) the new restaurant opens and she gets fired by a different manager (drunk every night shift) for having an attitude. As they bring in more new employees for her position and still without making any money I asked what happened. They yelled at me to get out. We could have quit sooner but only just had money to catch up on bills this month. I feel like we were taken advantage of because they knew what kind of financial bind we were in after not being able to pay her promised salary. Is there any justice for crap like this?
