Witnessed seizure at work / Workers comp

Last week I noticed an coworker acting strange walking toward me. He collapsed and I caught him as he fell and he started having a seizure for a few minutes. I was in complete shock, and after we got him to an ambulance my manager made a comment about how he’s glad we didn’t hire him (was a temp to hire) because of him being a liability.

This was traumatizing, and I have had extreme anxiety coming to the job site. (I am a PTSD diagnosed veteran)

(Someone also had a heat stroke the same week and this environment is terrifying)

I reached out to HR and they have not made me feel like I am who they are protecting, it feels like they are trying to protect the company over me.

They said they will reach out to workers comp, but in the mean time they expect me to come to work or I will be a no call no show.

No paid leave just come. Any advice? Or should I post on a different SubReddit?
