I just got back from Harris teeter. I was speaking to the employee who was checking me out and we talked about being a cashier as I was one for over four years.
I was always allowed a sweater and to see on my till if no one was there. But apparently at Harris Teeter (at least one in the NC triangle areas) wants their employees as miserable as possible. For $10 an hour and they aren’t allowed a SWEATER?
It’s 43 degrees out today and raining and just miserable. That’s torture for no good reason and I’m so sick of seeing it. They stated there were more rules but we didn’t have time to talk about it.
