Hello all, sorry if this isn’t allowed here but to keep things short I work at a residential facility for autistic children and one of them bit me I was able to see a workers comp doctor through video chat that night while still at work and after some push back from my supervisor I was able to go home for the night, well onto this week I have a light duty order from the doctor that I gave to HR and my workers comp manager they told me to work the same job just on a different unit and I’ve also had 3 higher position staff tell me “it’s no big deal” or “it’s not that bad I’ve seen worse” I feel like something isn’t right and they have to be doing something illegal right?
