Work stripping away your identity

Has anyone encountered this problem?You spend 8h a day (hopefully not more) at work and over the span of a year, the conflicts and struggling at work makes it into your private life, where you ruminate over the things until late at night. To me, it has gotten to the point where I stopped doing my hobbies, rarely go outside or meet people and have any sort of private life. I'm simply occupied by the stupid and disrespectful things that happen at work + the unbalanced workload. People like me, who just entered the workforce still believe they can get raises or promotions, but that's usually not the case. The only way is to job hop until you find an environment you're okay with, but it's becoming increasingly more difficult to look beyond the kool-aid without sinking another year in a new company.
