After six months I went to my old boss and with him went to the base commander to get my old position back. The helicopter boss asked me to leave within four hours. Since he said every piece of paperwork must be gone and I send it all to the shredder since there was nobody that could sign for it in the office.
Six months and thousands of documents were destroyed.
