I get a £1k increase to £23k and a bonus of less than £1k.
Worked my ass off, the whole team did, we all pushed hard and we increased our workload, we put in processes that sped up the work being done without sacrificing the quality of the work.
The business is easily making an extra £150k a year from the effort of 6 people. And they give us a slap in the face.
Parents even said ‘it could be worse, it could be zero!’ Easy for them to say as they are retired with 7 figures in the bank.
Checked the job market for my role and similar and apparently the going rate is around £30k. Guess it’s time to update the Ol’ reliable and work somewhere that values me.
Sick of everything being an uphill battle with people.
