When I said to the site manager that I’m planning on going back home to see my mom, his answer was “just let me know the dates so I can work around”. I’m a carpenter in Australia, making $40ph, and planning to get to $60ph until the end of the year. I just want to give hopes for those who wants to leave their home country. I got here 7 years ago with almost no money and zero English. Isn’t easy, but definitely worth it. Stay strong guys
