Workplace question.

I've been a cook at a cafe on Vancouver Island for 5+ years now. When I was initially hired, I signed an agreement that I would not receive time and a half pay for statutory holidays that I worked and be given an average day's pay in lieu of. The money was really good so I didn't question it further. After covid happened, the workplace became toxic and I took medical leave for 3 months and when I returned, I was presented with a new agreement or “Employee Handbook” which outlined things like overtime pay, meal breaks etc. This new handbook made no mention of statutory pay and I'm wondering if, since signing this new one, the old one is invalid. I believe I should be entitled to it. Any help would be appreciated.
