So, I just had a phone interview with a staffing service and this person starts asking basic questions, employment history- I've worked for 38 years, current employment- I work two jobs, and then they asked me why are you looking for work? Well, I want to stop working two jobs, I want a better-paying single job. What is your salary range? I say I want what was listed on indeed, $23.5 per hr. This person says I asked you for your range. I said that's it. $23-$23.50 like it said on Indeed…Then she asked me about my current work and what I do. I told her and started to go into detail on the type of work to show I have the experience and she cuts me off as I was explaining in detail as she asked. Then she says what type of job do you want? I said the one I applied for that you are calling me about. I then said not a warehouse job, but I will consider other employment based on the totality of what's involved. This person says I don't understand your answer, it doesn't make sense. I said, job type, location, pay, job duties-THE TOTALITY OF THE JOB!! I said look here Lady, you texted, emailed, and called me begging for me to interview, I don't like the attitude, I just had three other interviews for employment in my field of study in legal and they were great. I said I am not interested and certainly not talking to you. I told her to lose the attitude for the next person and hung up. She acted bothered to be interviewing me like I should have been begging for a bone……First time ever…
