Just a random thought. But lets say there was a website (no I'm not looking at building one) where past staff could post work conditions (yeah like glassdoor).
But people posted/obtained (obviously legal information) of whether the company provide staff annual leave, recreational leave. Or text with managers (not internal/secure/privacy stuff) but stuff like a manager pushing you to work the day of a family death. And whether they allow unions or bust them.
If it was all collated in the one place, would you use it to change your shopping?
My thinking is we basically have something similar here, text of managers/companies, managers being racist, or ones claiming they are open, but obvious attack unions.
What would happen if you could search “starbucks” or “amazon” and see that they've been fined union busting. They were racist at a staff member, or they time delivery drivers pee time. Would it help to see whether you'd use the service in the future?
I'd say its similar to here but actually showing the company name and be able to see it before you shop.
