Hey all, alt account for safety but just needed to vent a little. Today my store, big box retail, had the end of it's first week with our new store director. This man has been in the industry for a while but is new to OUR company and how we do things. He has spent the week critiquing every little thing around the store, changing things to his liking etc etc. Today in our before store meeting, he decided to let us know that in his eyes we are ALL replaceable and that he could have someone in our places within a week. He said this, to a store staffed by some weeks old employees, and some decades old employees. We all, obviously, took this as an extremely rude comment to make and highly inappropriate of a new manager to the company.
Anyway, just wanted to vent and hear thoughts on this.
