Guys no joke
I'm from Mexico (sorry if some things don't make sense, english is not my native language) and I got an interview with a really good company, I'm so excited cus it's a good position.
But the damn company literally gave me homework to do on this weekend.
Firstly I have to make a pre interview, which I have to respond 18 questions to see if I got a 1on1 interview, fine I did them ( it was all made on video)
Then the next day after they review the videos I got a mini interview that wasn't an interview, I had to take time of my work so they can tell us (i wasn't alone guys, the call was with the other people I have to compite for the position) what was going to be the next step
Then they tell us what's going to be the next step, they are going to send an assessment for us about imaginary cases and how we could resolve them, fine doesn't sound that bad to be honest, it's kinda a cool way to see if we could managed the work, the problem is we are supposed to make it presentation style, meaning we are going to present the assessment via zoom call not only for HR, some supervisors and the manager of the position, we had to do it also while the other candidates are watching.
And we have to take almost 10 mins for like 3-4 questions and if would be super cool if w can put pictures, presentations, videos and we have to watch the other people do their thing.
They said that the whole thing is going to take almost 3 hrs (probably) i have work to do and another of the candidates actually too cus while the guy was explaining to us the dynamic she raised this concern, that she couldn't ask so much free time and the guy answer her ” I know we arre asking you guys to much, but it's a sacrifice we guys ate asking to see if you fit in here”
They were asking us to make this presentation for a position that we already saw other 4 people are fighting for during our weekend and that we need to lose 3 hr only cus they can't accommodate that each person has their time alone.
Seriously this is some bullsh*t
