1 day notice and former co-workers are having to do behavior training now.

Started a new job 3 months ago. The department lead quit after 1st 6 weeks (15 year veteran employee). The 2 other co-workers were Misery (27M) and Company (32F). During a department meeting, I stated that the company culture was horrible. VP, Ops Mgr and Dept Mgr were all in attendance. Anytime I made a suggestion to improve process, Misery and/or Company would personally attack me. 2nd meeting, same story. Met with Ops Mgr in private next day, he explained how he knew about the personalities I was dealing with and it had been over 1 year that he was aware. While working with Misery and Company, they would make condescending remarks and come at me with hostile attitudes, then go back to complain to each other regarding the encounter they had with me. Next day, I was getting another verbal attack, where I interrupted with, “Stop right now with your condescending remarks and poor attitude or we will be sitting down with HR.” Misery was taken by surprise and became apologetic, since he had several documented encounters with HR already on file. Went home and thought about how much time we spend at work and it is usually the people you work with that keep you working in a Company for a long period of time. In my case shitty co-workers = shitty Company, so next day I did not go back to work. Got a text from HR Mgr looking for me. I texted back that I quit. HR Mgr texted, I will call you shortly. Called 10 minutes later with VP also on the call. I explained the reasons why I came to my decision. VP said he could tell after our 2nd department meeting what I was dealing with. He assured me, there is going to be drastic changes and I was invited back at anytime to see the results. He said the door is always open to come back at anytime. Never going back, starting new job in 3 days. Morale of the story, if your a manager and you have shitty employees, that makes you a shitty manager. Together, that makes a shitty company. NOBODY good, wants to work with shiity co-works or at a shitty company due to shitty management.
