Over the past year the company I've spent a decade working for has steadily gotten worse. Nearly all benefits for working there were either nerfed or done away with entirely.
On top of that, my schedule got completely flipped from what it used to be, which is a major inconvenience for me.
Today I put in my 2 week notice and told my boss that I'll be making nearly double elsewhere. Durring the next 2 weeks I'll essentially be getting my new pay rate, since I also have 2 weeks worth of PTO accrued as well.
