Employee Rights
I work at a corporate weed company in Massachusetts doing deliveries. Recently they let us drivers know that do to the “nature of the business” they will no longer be offering us, only the drivers not anyone else in the company, 15 minute breaks.
My issue is while it’s no longer federally mandatory (which is soo fucked and I can’t believe no one talks about it), however it is company policy that everyone gets 15 minute breaks.
As a driver I’m much more valuable to fatigue and face serious consequences for doing my job (accidents, robberies, violating federal law) but I can have a quick break to elevate my stress but everyone else who works for the same company can?
Anyone else dealing with this? What are my rights?
