It’s not like I’m applying for jobs at places where you need any experience. Just some local spots that have been short staffed recently. Except whenever I ask if they are hiring I’ve gotten either of the following responses, “No, sorry.” Or “Yes, but we pay teens less.” Is that even something they can do? Tired of this already. Now the places that say “No” are places that have signs on their front door saying “Now hiring”. Yet they don’t even want to talk to someone who is willing to work… smh. Why is everyone looking for workers, but not hiring anyone. Just gonna put my real skills to use online. Which will be a lot more work, and more challenging. But I don’t really have any other choice right now.
