I started a contracted/temporary position in September after leaving my previous job due to a very toxic work environment that lead me to an extended medical leave of absence. My current temporary gig is not bad, good supervisor and coworkers. As the title states, now we are closing in less than 2 months left until my contract is over with them. I have been applying for jobs since September with a few interviews here and there. Nothing has come to fruition. I have to apply for the job I am doing again when they plan to post it next week. ​ I am hoping to get some offers before so I can leverage that and also potentially find a way out of education and find some work that can actually compensate me for my work. My current temporary gig is not bad, good supervisor and coworkers. As the title states, now we are closing in less than 2 months left until my contract is over with them. I have been applying for jobs since September with a few interviews here and there. Nothing has come to fruition. I have to apply for the job I am doing again when they plan to post it next week.

I am hoping to get some offers before so I can leverage that and also potentially find a way out of education and find some work that can actually compensate me for my work. Regardless, getting a full-time gig and gaining benefits will be a little help for my family. I also am starting to look into ways for me to slowly build a side hustle and work for myself and generate enough money to be able to quit my full-time job.
