Last Monday I put in my two weeks notice at my job. I’ve been here for going on five years, but haven’t seen a pay raise in the last two. Six months ago I accepted a new position within my company and have yet to be moved to it because “there’s not any staff to fill your role.” Since the beginning of 2022, including myself, six people have quit or are quitting. The Director fails to see his wrong-doings and has said to multiple other employees that “everyone that’s quitting is lazy and doesn’t want to work anyway”. The funniest part is that the Director and his “Deputy Director” haven’t spoken to me or even looked at me when I’ve seen them in the building throughout the day, since I’ve put in my two weeks notice. Their pettiness displays the type of work environment that’s been here since he was placed in charge two years ago. They have a “clique”, and if you aren’t a part of it then you’re treated like shit. I can’t wait to be done here and I’ve been encouraging every one of my coworkers to find somewhere better to work because the lack of pay raises, employee appreciation, and bullying is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
