2 years out of college, 100s of applications later, no job prospects

Frustrated and, frankly, confused. For background, I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from a top public university in pol sci and film, have years of professional/internship experience in film, tv, publicity, and city government. I've even won awards for my fiction writing. I graduated 2 years ago and started applying to jobs in the months before I left college. I chalked it up to being in the pandemic and whatnot but after 2 years that excuse falls flat. I graduated 2 years ago and started applying to jobs in the months before I left college. I chalked it up to being in the pandemic and whatnot but after 2 years that excuse falls flat. I managed to get a couple of interviews initially (one with a major streaming company only to be told after 2 rounds of interviews “no thanks”). After that, absolutely nothing. 100s of applications and not so much as an interview. I've been applying to entry-level service industry jobs as well and only got 2 dead-end interviews out of it. One place had me come in for an interview only at the end to be told they “weren't actively hiring” and another place ghosted me after the interview.

I'm extremely fortunate to be still living at home, but the anxiety of seemingly being “unemployable” is reaching a head and I don't know what to do. Every professional I show my resume to for advice says it's impressive and can't seem to fathom why I'm not getting anywhere. I'd say I'm giving up, but I literally can't.

A bit of a rant, but I know I'm not alone in my frustrations and anxiety.
