I know that this isn't truly anti work, but I just accepted a job offer where I lied to get more money. I told them I had a second job offer (which I did) that was offering 7k more than they were (which they weren't). They accepted my counter offer for 4k more, a later start date (still burnt out from my last job), and full remote. I really should have asked for more money, but didn't want to push my luck and I truly would have been happy with the lower amount since the job excited me. I knew they knew I was excited for the opportunity, but I didn't let them screw me over with a low ball offer. Also, thank you again to this group for helping me get the confidence to actually ask for a better offer.

I’ve seen this a couple times but most recently someone in my company is struggling with breast cancer and our company is asking US to donate to help with treatment. Like they could give her a years worth of my pay and not even bat an eye. Annoying.
And throwing a pizza party doesn’t count
I hope it fits the overall topic of this sub because imo this kind of behavior just feels inhumane. I work for a large company that has multiple customers and projects. We've been working with this US company for more than 10 years, I myself for 3. More than half of their team consists of our people. Ever since this terrible genocide of our nation has started, they have been silent. Not even an email, I'm not even talking about donations. Yesterday, we have received an email urging us to complete our harassment/cyber security trainings because it's a “compliance issue”. Rumor has it, they also conduct negotiations with companies from other countries to be able to terminate the contract prematurely.
