I want to quit my my job and start to do my own thing. I already have a few side hustles, one of witch Is working at a restaurant at a golf course (I do that once a week for the free golf!) But of course they don't offer healthcare. I also do masonry work on my own (rebuild chimneys and whatnot). I know I can make good money doing it full time, only problem is I can't do it in the winter. Obviously my question is, what are we doing for health insurance!? Any tips would be appreciated

My 50+ conservative, male boss has made my(24F) life hell since I started at the company. I was hired through a family member reference to train and be promoted in a financial institution. At the time there was only one other person similar in age and also happened to be female working here. She trained me and eventually became upset, feeling as though we were in some sort of competition. Since she was closer to our coworkers and my relative worked in the company, many team members made little effort to interact with me out of fear and due to drama started by my trainer. Throughout my training I was belittled and had a lot of mansplaining experiences or was disregarded by my superiors. They had no formal training or information. It was basically “we need these docs. I’m a younger manager (27) and one of my older direct reports (in 50s) is making more than me (by at least $10k). They have been at the company longer and obviously have more experience, but I can’t help but feel weird that I make less than them. Is this normal?

So I have a full-time job and picked up a second, part-time one. I told them in the interview that I wouldn’t make in till 5:45 as I’d be coming from another job. I was told that would be no problem. Last week the schedule for this week was posted and it was only one, three-hour shift. I emailed asking what’s up and the response was “Your schedule is super difficult for us, but I’ll be giving you more shifts.” The schedule for next week was posted this morning and still only one, three-hour shift. So I emailed again saying to please take me off the schedule as three hours a week isn’t beneficial to me and defeats the purpose of a second job. I didn’t get a response, but I know she saw the email because I was removed from next week’s schedule. I am still on the schedule…

I've been dealing with workplace (sexual and otherwise) harassment from my current supervisor for some years now, I didn't make a deal with it after a while he stopped and got moved somewhere away from me. Now they moved him back with me and he's doing just as much and getting others involved too. I wanna report it but he brings a weapon with him to work and he's ex military, so I'm worried about physical retaliation as he's bigger than me and he's your typical redneck so what I'm saying is I'm worried he might actually kill me if I say something

A couple days ago, I posted about being let go with no warning. Since them I've been applying for unemployment. The local UE site asked if I was given warning to correct unsatisfactory work. Well, I wasn't, but was I supposed to? The day before my termination I was told to meet with my boss and HR but was never given any explanation as to the nature of the meeting until I got there. I was told that I would recieve a mid-year review like the other employees (around June or July), so that's when I expected any feedback or warning. My boss didn't even give any sign of what was to come later that day. He corresponded with me that day as if I was doing just fine.
