So I have a full-time job and picked up a second, part-time one. I told them in the interview that I wouldn’t make in till 5:45 as I’d be coming from another job. I was told that would be no problem. Last week the schedule for this week was posted and it was only one, three-hour shift. I emailed asking what’s up and the response was “Your schedule is super difficult for us, but I’ll be giving you more shifts.” The schedule for next week was posted this morning and still only one, three-hour shift. So I emailed again saying to please take me off the schedule as three hours a week isn’t beneficial to me and defeats the purpose of a second job. I didn’t get a response, but I know she saw the email because I was removed from next week’s schedule. I am still on the schedule for today. Do I show up or no?
