I had a meeting with my boss today about my raise they mentioned getting a high as 15 percent since we haven't had a raise or a bonus in three years due to covid and its made it tough for our whole community. They asked for a bit of time to make it right not to leave right away. Then in the meeting today 3 fucking percent and my boss told me they fought to make sure I got the 3 instead of just 2 point something. The only real perk this job really had is that movement in this company was pretty easy. Now even with people leaving left and right this has seemed to gone away. They are worried about attracting talent. Fuck! You're not going to attract anyone when this is how you try to retain people. I just have to rant about this shit I went above and beyond for years and years and this is how they try to keep people wanting to work hard?
At this point I don't know if I should just leave outright or use them to get my degree first.
