3mnth run around

I applied to a job with a $600 sign on bonus. Spoke with the recruiter about it. Did orientation and spoke about it with the school director. 1st school director quit and a new one came in. New school director also said I can be expecting the bonus. She sent out an email saying we'll recieve half the bonus once we finish some tasks and complete a certain amount of hours for training, and the other half after 90days. I finished training a month ago. Payday was today. Yesterday I asked if half the bonus will be on this paycheck and she said she'll find out for me. She gets back to me and says I'm actually not qualified for it because the bonus offer expired just before I was hired. I signed a non compete contract for this job. Is there any way I can get out of it…

I signed a non compete contract for this job. Is there any way I can get out of it since they won't pay what they said they could? Am I really just out of that $600?
Setting a meeting with HR tomorrow.
