We get July 4th off and I'm taking off Friday to make it a 4 day weekend. But apart of me knows 4 days still isn't enough time for me. The 2 day weekends fly by now and I can barely get anything done from being so exhausted from the work week. I genuinely need a full week off to get my head back in the right space but I don't want to use up my PTO days. Throw back to last year when I ran out of PTO and then went unpaid for almost a week because winter storms shut the plant down and you can't get paid if you're hourly and don't have PTO to make up days we weren't allowed to come in. Trying to save at least a week of PTO for winter season in case that ever happens again.
