I have a working theory that most people work through every useful year in something they hate because of insurance. Would lowering the age of Medicare to 55 be an equitable trade off to give people more time to enjoy life over 65? I dont known if single payer will make it through congress for the foreseeable future without masses armed with ar 15s and pitchforks due to the insurance and pharma stranglehold on congress.
