This was about 5 years ago. I applied for a job as sales for a Troegs in PA. Job was for NYC, where I lived. Did well on phone interview, they asked me to visit the brewery for an in person.
I was shocked. I asked if this was necessary or if anyone could meet me in NYC instead of driving so far. Nope, they HAD to make me drive 3.5 hours each way. No benefits or gas money. My desperate ass made the drive.
Didn't get the job. Screw you for wasting my time and the other candidates. Anyone made to go through hoops for just an interview…?
