I love my job and the kids I work with. But I got a raise of 50 cents (grand total $17.50 an hour for extremely specialized work) after working with this company for three years.

My boss explicitly told me that they value me and recognize that the pay I receive doesn't reflect that. I honestly feel like maybe I should just work at Starbucks… I would love to stay at my job but I also love not starving, and my rent is about to go up by $600 since I am moving 🙁 Not to mention $500 in application fees/subletting fees/deposits!
