Title. Two co workers quit for higher paying jobs. I’m still here because I enjoy the work I do and the company BUT. They know they had a time frame to discuss pay with me. One of my ex co worker called me and mentioned that our manager and director reached out and asked him much to come back. The number he gave was about $97K a year.
My co worker told me if they accepted, he would have turned them down but let me know what they accepted so I could ask for the same.
I received a notice today that a raise has been put in for me and I’ll know how much here within the week and how valued I am where we work.
(Again) I love my job and the company but the work we do and the responsibility on our shoulders is severely lacking in pay for our department (which is getting fixed now)
